Besides sectional sofas with two forms of couches joined together with (or without) a corner piece, some sectionals have one long side and one short side. When there is a short side, it is often a recliner. This type of configuration works great if your room is a bit on the small side. But a recliner is not your only option, some sectional sofas have a chaise lounge along one side.
More Comfortable Than Upholstery: Upholstery provides a thin barrier between those using the furniture and the structure of the cushion. Over time, the shape of the couch will change and the materials will break down. This leads to an uncomfortable, lumpy couch that no one wants to sit on. As leather sofas age, the material becomes more comfortable. Rather than breaking down, these sofas conform to body weight more readily. In fact, many owners note that their older couch feels nicer than it did when it was brand new.
Perhaps the biggest reason you should consider a leather sofa for your home is for the natural warmth it offers. There is a tactile appeal with leather that is really second to none. If you have ever sat on a piece of furniture covered in leather you know what I am talking about. The smooth, soft feel is comforting and warm to the touch. There is just something about it that makes you feel like you are in the lap of luxury. Nothing scratchy, and no irritating feel.
